I am an experienced specialist in general surgery, and I see patients at Mehiläinen’s clinics in Kotka and Kouvola. I have been a licensed physician since 1990 and completed my specialization in general surgery in 1999. I have over three decades of solid experience in surgical care.

At my Mehiläinen practice, I focus on a wide range of minor surgical procedures. During procedure appointments, I perform removals and corrections of skin lesions, moles, and subcutaneous lumps. In addition, I treat toenail issues and perform nail procedures (please note that finger procedures are referred to hand surgeons). Alongside my private practice, my main work is at Kymenlaakso Central Hospital, where I work in breast cancer surgery and treat various breast diseases. All adults and patients over the age of 16 are warmly welcome to my practice.

When booking an appointment, please kindly note that procedure times are booked directly through the Mehiläinen clinic (or by leaving a call request). This ensures that the nurse can reserve adequate time and facilities for the procedure, as well as provide the necessary preparation instructions.

In my practice, I emphasize clear, professional, and calm care. I aim to ensure that procedures are as painless and comfortable as possible, and I always explain the steps of the treatment openly so that you can feel safe and confident throughout your visit.

Prices

The price estimate includes the doctor's fee, outpatient clinic fee and Kanta-fee. Other fees can also be charged, such as fees from possible operations and examinations.
